ACCOMMODATION ALONG THE SEA-TO-SKY ROUTE
There are many options of accommodation along the Sea-to-Sky Cyprus route, ranging from comfortable hotels, to Airbnbs, Agrotourism village accommodation and camping, depending on how you want to experience your journey. We will provide some recommendations below, but a search on popular short-term holiday booking sites should give more options. Contact us for advice if you are not sure how close your chosen accommodation really is to the route.
THE START
The Journalists' Village at Pervolia is highly recommended as a welcoming and comfortable base to check into near the start of the trail. It is close to Larnaca airport and Faros beach is a few hundred meters away. For those doing the extended 160km trail, the first 25km coastal section passes directly below The Journalists' Village. The start of the 135km trail is just 18km away at Alaminos, making it well-placed for pick-up and drop-off support.
The apartments have comfortable rooms at reasonable prices, and flexible checkouts are possible.
The Enalia restaurant on the premises is also renowned for its traditional Cypriot meals at good prices -- it has been voted on TripAdvisor as the No1 restaurant in Pervolia. Kyriakos and Fotini, who run the restaurant, enjoy having runners and hikers around, and will be happy to welcome you and assist you with anything you may need.

At the finish: The Jubilee Hotel at Troodos
This warm and cosy mountain hotel has become a sanctuary for mountain runners and hikers wanting a base for trail-running and hiking adventures in the Troodos mountains, and is the official finish line of the Sea-to-Sky Cyprus trail route.
The Jubilee Hotel offers good value for money and a welcoming environment, with great advice and tips on hand about the local trails available from Cyprus' Trail Runners representative in Troodos, Andraz Renko, who lives and works at the hotel.
Have a celebration drink at the hotel bar when you finish, say hello to Andraz, and check in for a well-deserved rest.
The Adventure Mountain Park is conveniently situated directly on the Sea-to-Sky trail and is a welcoming place in beautiful surroundings. There are camping facilities as well as a restaurant with excellent local food. If you have some time to spend there, it also offers activities like climbing, paint balling and orienteering.
CAMPING
There are only three official camping sites along the Sea-to-Sky trail -- at Adventure Mountain Park, at Troodos and at Platania -- but if you are carrying your own tent and supplies camping is possible at the picnic sites, which have toilets, barbeque areas and running water. Wild camping is also possible, but do clean up after yourself, and note that fires can only be made in designated barbeque areas.
Cyprus has a high fire risk, especially during the summer months..
Along The Way
Lefkara Village:
There is plenty of accommodation in the beautiful traditional village of Lefkara, but be aware that the village is about 4.5km from where the trail crosses the E14 road to Lefkara (29km from the Alaminos start) so you will need to arrange transport to and from the village.

Agros is the biggest village in the area with many accommodation options and restaurants.
